I am a 5th year Ph.D. student at Marquette University. Dr. Keke Chen is advising me toward my goal. I love to design and develop solutions for privacy and security related problems. My primary research focuses on confidential computing, which includes secure computation with SGX, secure crowdsourcing, and machine learning. Recently, I have developed SGX-MR: Secure Outsourced Data Analytics with SGX.
I am also interested in working on problems related to Big Data, Distributed Computing, and Blockchain.
I recently completed my internship at Meta Platforms Inc., where I conducted research on privacy issues and probable mitigations in the Facebook infrastructure data flow. Based on that, I have built a declassification service to protect the privacy of user data by leveraging Facebook's Trusted Execution Environment (TEE). Before that, I have completed an internship at RingCentral Inc., USA, where I contributed building services for scalable, high-performance architecture, which handles terabytes of log data. Before starting my Ph.D., I worked as a Software Engineer at Samsung Electronics for 5+ years. At samsung, I was involved in several R&D projects. During that time I grew my expertise in System and Software Architecture, Development in Linux Environment, IoT and Bluetooth Low Energy. I worked in the Android Framework as well for prototyping research projects. Towards the end, I designed and developed the connection module of the Samsung Wearable SDK and partially developed the connection module of Galaxy Watch Manager (iOS version).
